SYMPHONY SUMMER CAMP

The Tuscaloosa Symphony Announces our first annual Symphony Summer Camp: Musical Story Building!

The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, Babu Press, and O’Connor Art Studios present a new and exciting summer camp, “Musical Story Building.”

Children ages 5-7 will interact with musicians, Osiris J. Molina and Jenny Mann of the TSO and Joey Salvalaggio of Babu Press, to create their own story through music.  Ruth O’Connor of O’Connor Arts Studios will guide the visual arts instruction with the students, making connections between sound and images.  Along the way kids learn about literary, musical, and visual art themes and address topics such as kindness and anti-bullying.  This fun and interactive camp will keep your kids singing, dancing, and drawing all week long!

No prior musical experience necessary!
